Small Blessings hosts several events every year for our school community and for the surrounding communities. We host these events for our families and teachers to be able to come together in a more casual atmosphere and strengthen their relationships. As children watch their parents interact with their teachers on various levels, it strengthens the bond and trust level of the child with the care giver. We also just enjoy spending time with our families!
The following galleries are events we have hosted in the past year

Every May our young bikers put the petal to the metal out in the parking lots as we host our own mini-version of the Indy 500... the SB5! Even our youngest infants are pushed around on the buggy. Parents are always welcome and invited to come and participate. |
| The Summer Social is a family ice cream social event. In 2007 we all went to the Cold Stone Creamery at Trader's Point. The Summer Social is a time for teachers and their families to socialize with our clients and families. It's always a highlight of the start of summer! |

At the end of the Summer in 2007, our families all headed downtown for a Family Night to see the Indianapolis Indians play the Toledo Mud Hens. A big storm ended up raining out the end of the game, but untit that point we had so much fun! |
| We took the Fall Festival outside this year with a bouncehouse, pony rides, cake walk, family pictures, haystacks, pumpkins, apples, apple bobbing... you get the picture! Now you can look at them. This was a community event hosted by our PTO. |

As Christmas approaches we celebrate another family morning with a Breakfast with Santa. While we do not put aside the true meaning of this holiday, we know that the magic for children sometimes lies with this magical person and offer pictures for families to take home as a keepsake. This year our Santa was our very own Ms. Fawn, a two-year-old teacher.

| Parents are always welcome to the classrooms to participate in a project, read, or simply play. Every winter we invite in a local artist through the Young Audience program in Indianapolis to come into the school and introduce our preschool and kindergarteners (and their teachers) to a new form of art. This year each class participated in creating their own mosaic tiles. These tiles are now on display in the individual classrooms. |

Summer Camp is fast approaching. We plan a full summer of fun for school-age children including a science fair, art fair, comic book far, field trips, community service projects, and more! For our younger children we bring outside experiences into the school as "In house field trips" including magic shows, bounce house, Dr. Suess show, cooking show, bowling, and more! At the end of the summer we hosted a teacher and family talent show! Here are some pictures from last years summer camp. |
