Small Blessings Early Childhood Community
Small Blessings is one of the most versatile and family-focused childcare centers in Indianapolis. We offer families and children an organic multi-age learning platform. Our 17,600 square foot facility, which opened in February 2002, is independently owned and operated by Lee Ann Balta, one of the most respected early childhood educators in central Indiana. The facility features a large multipurpose room, a sick bay with separate entrance and large classrooms with neutral décor to avoid over stimulation.

The Peace Table
At Small Blessings, teachers use the Peace Table in the preschool classrooms. If children are having a disagreement, they go to the Peace Table. Once there, they are encouraged to talk and work it out, rather than using hitting or kicking, utilizing solution cards and teacher intervention when needed. Children will make mistakes, but that's ok, they are learning!
