Infants - Ratio 4:1

We are committed to providing quality care for your infant and strive to create a warm, safe, caring environment according to the individual needs of your child. We aim to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere so parents and staff feel reassuredand comfortable which in turn helps our children feel at home.

Toddler and Twos - Ratio 5:1

In the toddler and two year old rooms we aim to provide a happy, relaxed, and secure environment that makes to make every child feel safe.  Each child also needs to feel a sense of belonging and this is achieved through affection, respect, and reassurance. In this way we enable all the children to reach their own individual potential at their own pace.

Preschool and Kindergarten Program - Ratio 10:1

Small Blessings, Inc runs a full Preschool and Kindergarten Program for children between the ages of 3 and 6 years. We provide non-competitive, flexible, and caring classrooms. Children respect their environment through interactions with materials, peers, and adults, gaining self-esteem and independence to participate in a variety of activities and situations. Children enter our classrooms with different levels of development so a wide variety of age-appropriate opportunities are provided to encourage each stage of development.  The children and teachers establish solid relationships with their teachers through the years and the learning maintains continuity each year.

School Age Program - Ratio 15:1

As children finish kindergarten and move on from their preschool classrooms, they advance into our School-Age program which is 1st grade through 12 years of age. We provide transportation to some local schools and also have a full-program for school breaks, including Summer Camp.

After relocating from California, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a diverse and progressive, experientially based child development center for my children.  During our  3 years at Small Blessings, I have witnessed them flourish.  They are not only inquisitive and independent but happy and confident. 

The caliber of teacher never fails to impress me and I find myself flabergasted by the knowledge stream that my 4 year old shares with me from Frank Lloyd Wright architecture to recycling and gardening.  Most importantly however is the fact that Small Blessings offers my family a safe and nurturing environment. I never walk out the door in the morning with an empty pit in my stomach because it is like leaving them with family  - which is what Small Blessing has become to us!
